Since the introduction of the first aluminum high speed ferry service across the Irish Channel, Cimpina has carried out a wide variety of structural and welding repairs in the maintenance of such vessels.
Cimpina is able to provide clients not only with a high standard of workmanship but also with expert technical advice and service. The Company has invested much time and resources in order to obtain an in-depth technical knowledge of the metallurgical properties of the various aluminium alloys in use today. The research and development which Cimpina has carried out into this relatively new aluminium application, coupled with its existing skills and many years experience in the ship repair and marine industry, has meant that Cimpina is one of the leaders in this specialist technology.

Cimpina's flexibility allows it to: •Carry out work aboard the vessels in dry dock and provide a full emergency callout service whilst the vessels are in operation thereby saving valuable downtime.
